# Bitcoin Alpha: Building the Future of Bitcoin Together

<figure><img src="/files/p1a7OtUmyC4Ju0BbDvKb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Bitcoin Alpha is a new initiative launched on[ Bitcoin Thunderbolt](https://thunderbolt.lt/), designed to accelerate the next era of Bitcoin by rewarding meaningful contributions to the network. It’s built on a core belief: the future of Bitcoin belongs to those who build it.

In a space too often dominated by speculation, Bitcoin Alpha highlights what truly matters, real products, resilient infrastructure, and active builders. Through the Alpha Points system, every contribution to the network, whether it’s staking, deploying, or supporting projects earns recognition. And for early participants, there’s more: depending on when and how they engage, contributors can unlock additional boost, to directly impact their rewards.

Bitcoin Alpha is an ongoing initiative with projects backed by academic researchers and leading funds within the ecosystem. What they share in common: they’re shipping, solving real problems, and expanding Bitcoin’s reach. As Bitcoin Thunderbolt powers faster transactions and stablecoin-native payments, Alpha shines a spotlight on the builders bringing this momentum to life.
